Scott Duncan, DPT
Scott graduated from Creighton University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2001 and moved to Washington State to start working as a physical therapist. His first job was at Riverside Nursing Home in Centralia, where he first met Dr. Hess and started their mutual respect of patient care. While in Centralia, Scott started working for Foster Farms in Kelso and treated all their work-related injuries. This led to him working for Costco in Tumwater and treating work related injuries there. In 2003, Scott left the Extendicare corporation and opened a new clinic for Physiotherapy Associates as a clinic director providing orthopedic outpatient physical therapy for the patients. Ironically, this was across the parking lot from Dr. Hess' old clinic, which furthered their close relationship with patients. On the weekends Scott started working at Shelton's Mason General Hospital providing hospital care to the patients there. Finally, in February of 2010, Scott started working for Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates. Scott's philosophy consists of providing individual care for each of his patients while providing the highest level of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise. Scott believes it is important to look at the whole patient in incorporating their return to normal activities. Having worked in many, varied physical therapy situations, Scott believes Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates has the best communication between physical therapist and doctors in the area resulting in patients reaching the highest level of clinical outcomes.
Chrissy Franklin, Location Lead
I love my job!! I get to come to work every day and help patients and employees work hard at achieving personal goals!! When we first meet our patients they have been through so much physically and emotionally. It's beautiful watching a team of people come together to better lives. Our patients help us just as much as we help them!
A little about me... Over the last 25 years I have had a couple of management and customer service jobs and had the opportunity to be a stay at home mom. My best friend and I have been together 19 years. We have a beautiful 7 year old little girl and love spending time together outside as much as possible. We live our lives with love and compassion every day!

Taylor Reed, PTA
I’m from Olympia born and raised, I graduated from Olympia High School and did my PTA program up in Bellingham at Whatcom Community College. I decided to get into physical therapy after injuring myself and becoming interested in healing people as a career. When I’m not nerding out on Marvel Comic books, my hobbies include skateboarding, snowboarding, hiking, camping, really anything being outdoors and active; injuries are nothing new to my friends and I! Physical therapy has and continues to be a fun and fascinating world that I continue to learn and grow from every day. I love our FASA team here and am excited to be part of our family.
